Air Brushing Photos

This is for a job application for airbrushing photos, look at that creamy skin. it only took around half and hour, i reckon i could do it in less with a well planned system. The healing brush and stamp are key here, and also the dodge and burn tools. I tried a slighter blur but then she looked like a polyester girl.

YAY! Paper fun! I'm so sick i barfed up half a cup of flem. Has the consistency of week old yogurt.



This picture was the original design i had for our company logo, but since it doesn't have everything to do with anything its a no go.


This was a tshirt design for Decibel Clothing, but they never emailed me back, i got the inspiration from that interstellar 555 daft punk series. Used calligraphy pen on the paper, coloured in photoshop and then vectored in flash.

I was never into these pop disco tshirts, or t-shits as like to spell them. Yes, im clever, im also now coughing up blood! tastes like raw chicken.

Punch in the face

Got paid by mate to do a gig poster. i could get used to these; artistic freedom, fun, 10 hours of coloring in photoshop, depression, denial, anger, acceptance. So what if its alot like dyeing.

ROLLER DERBY!!!

Its the art of alternative with tattoos women dressed up in a 50's esque theme beating each other up at speed on roller skates around a mini ring! Sounds like awesome in butter form, and spreed onto bread, which is made from the yeast infection of my excitement.

If you wanna check out the coolest Roller derby queen look up Suzi Hotrod. you wont regret most of it.

Im going on the 30th to see the Road Rollers vs the Salty Dolls. In the mean time my favorite pen is dead, and was dying while i drew this;

I could just write what this shot involved. but I'll write a story reflecting the experience.

Prison; your confused and worried. all you want to know is how to survive and serve your time. Meet Mike, your inmate. The big kid in the sandbox. He's obese but would describe himself as "Voluptuous". he said you have "real purty teeth". and treats you nice and everything is great.

I also forgot to mention that i started an Animation business with my mate called Awesome Fighter Animation. Its registered as a partnership and its got a printed certificate and everything like tax and stuff. The ultimate goal is to have our own poorly made television series. We'll make a film for tropfest this year under our new guise and then the dough will come rolling in like obese Maurice on a flight of rickety stairs. Soon to have website and t-shirts. because you dont get famous if you fail to whore out merchandise; just ask any band. cept that one with the "this is not this bands tshirt".

Mondo Froggo

did this job a while ago. its a good idea about an interactive website young kids can use. it was really quite fun. Here's a tiny tiny bit of the work i did.

Skate or Don't

i got a new long board deck. for those who know me or seen my hideous face scarring, i like to longboard. this ones like a coffin, so after getting it gripped i cut out a flame design stencil from a box o' cornflakes and used automotive matt black paint to give it a fade effect.



For the skate deck i used automotive touch up pain and a hell of a lot of silver electrical tape. Now i can be bodacious rad gnarly cool. bro.... dude.....


Also a while ago i orderd some new decks in. They're Creature Decks which are always green and black and have a cool 50's gore theme to them.

Wheat pasting street art

I got laid off from working at a video store, so with this spare time i decide to paste the town. these are yet to go up, will post when they are. For those who aren't in the know; wheat pasting is basiclly drawing a picture, cutting it out and sticking on a surface with a paste made from wheat, water and suger. Wheat paste is awesome. shoes are awesome. I've been baking a fart for half an hour.










I love this figure, so im gonna do like 10 of them. So far its robot and zombie 50's chick. Next? alien chick, crash dummy chick, goth chick, mash potato chick.

Awesome Fighter Finished... Sorta.

Well slap me like a fish and call me Dorothy. after countless nights of no sleep (one week surviving 5 days on 12 hours of sleep) AWESOME FIGHTER is finally finished, though we'll be tweaking it, a bit of sound and flickering.

Though now I've learnt to hate the slut that is known as Adobe Premiere. the shit that program pulled was more ridicules than a clown rape flick. and it was as equally as traumatic. what should have taken five minuets often turned into 17 hour marathon against it's robotic bastardry. once the tweaking has been done she'll be up here i say.

new projects inclued: new comic, frame by frame animation of scat the cat and a new piot for a tv series. huzza!

Drawing in Photoshop tis fair awesome

This is a pic i did for a friend of mine, it was her birthday a month ago, and i just started/finished it. I need to get waaay better at animating in photoshop; theres allota work available for it. stupid flash.

Also awesome Fighter is getting near completion, and totally behind.

Tropfest is coming up and Levi and i are going to pitch a b grade horror movie to get funded; Sharktopuss; Half shark, half ocutpuss, all mighty.

The Fish is Board

Ive got a mate called dev whos hell into old skool skate boarding, he buys old boards and fixes them up. He got me into it and i did mine. If you've got a board from when you where little and cracked your ass bone on the road and then decided you didn't want to skate anymore, i highy suggest fixing it up, if only for an art piece. I documented the process, well most of it.


Start with one early ninties gay board.


Sand paper the ba-jesus outta it.


stop, drink some refreshing Tang, continue

Sand paper some more (hell of a lot more)



Primer and paint the bottom and lay a satin wood finish on top


Buy some grip tape and lay it down (regular grip tape is too narrow for a fish board, so cut it how it pleases ya)



matt black the bottom, get two pieces of coloured paper and spend over FOUR HOURS CUTTING THE GOD DAM MEGAMAN STUPID DESIGN OUTTA PAPER THAT YOU DID WHILE YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN LIVING and stick it with UHU stick glue, clear glue over the top.


Me and dev also got second hand metal trucks and made rises outta rubber from clark rubbing using a drill press and some tin snips. right now im looking at new wheels so i can ride the dam thing down the hill, its already got new bearing and bushes. before you know it you'll be hittin a dry kidney pool for some summer fun.

All i need now is a board the size of a shoe and one the size of a surfboard and im set... for the ladies... i hear they like.. stuff.

Broke me shoe

ive learnt three things in these past few months,

1; olling on a skate board is the same as rubbing sand paper on your shoes untill you have a hole though the shoe, through the sock, and a raw sand paperd foot.

2; converse shoes are not very durable

3; 7up is bitchen.

By using a little sewing skills (my mum was impressed, you should be too, im totally cool by the way), and a lot of Shoe Goo, ive fixed me shoe and made a neat little ollie patch. seriously, id make all my cloths, (ie, shoddly fix pre-made broken clothes) if i could. or rahter, could be botherd




On the other hand, ive orded skate shoes, they easier to skate board with. Gnarly bro

new pen

i got me a fat 4 calligraphy pen from art liner, so ive been experimenting. it looks a little like Jim Mahfood's stuff. weeee!

The Daily Wynd

Huzza! it works.

This is the government film i did. People liked it at the presentation. and not only did it get me the moneys, i gots free fancy pantsy wine and champane and other alcoholic beverages at the gallery viewing of all the work. Also the Wynd is like winding a clock, not like the blowing wind. this goes by my belief that all cartoons should have a pun as a name.





Big Heads up to Cam Blokland for doing the music. hes gonna do the music for Awesome Fighter as well, and probably nearly all projects in the future.

And thanks to the Peoples Republic of Animation who got me this job and another few coming up. If your in adelaide and you see the new banners in Rundel mall or the new ads for rundel mall on tv they did them.
